Check your head

Day 12

On my way to yoga this evening, I had a strange feeling that I had missed a day of classes by accident. The previous class had been on the morning of the day before. So it had been a day and a half since the last class. It is strange to measure your days by yoga classes. I took the 5:30 this evening, and will take the 7:30 tomorrow morning. That feels like doing a double, while having over 24 hours between classes feels like I am skipping a day. I wonder if the physiological effects of yoga affect my circadian rhythms: does being exposed to heat affect my body like being exposed to warm sunlight? I am beginning to think so. Ahhh all this yoga is just messing with my head!! In any case I know I am obsessed with not missing a day. If, for some reason, I do have to miss a class, I would make it up by doing a "double" (two classes in one day). I have only done a back-to-back class once. It was really hard, and I don't plan on trying it again. Thus my obsession with not missing a day. I can only describe it as the kind of fear one might have of forgetting to put on their pants before leaving the house.
